fuxe (fuxe.org) is a private, invitation-only video editor. This page says what it keeps, why, and who else sees it. fuxe has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it never sells data.
What fuxe keeps
- Your account: your username and a hashed password.
- What you make: uploaded videos, the finished edits, scripts, captions, covers and post drafts.
- Platform connections you choose to make: the access tokens Instagram, TikTok or X give fuxe, your username and profile picture there, and the posts fuxe sent for you with their public numbers (views, likes, comments, shares) so you can learn what worked.
Where it lives
On one server rented from Contabo in Singapore. Each account's files are kept apart; tokens are stored readable only by the app and are never sent to your browser.
Who else sees it
- Instagram, TikTok and X receive a video or post only when you confirm it.
- Anthropic (the Claude AI model) processes the text of your scripts and transcripts, and frames from your video for covers, to draft edits, captions, covers and posts.
- Speech is transcribed on fuxe's own server; it is not sent elsewhere.
Deleting your data
Delete a video, script or post draft in the app at any time; disconnecting a platform deletes its tokens. To delete your whole account and everything in it, ask the person who invited you: it is removed within 30 days. Instagram data can also be deleted from Instagram's own settings.
